Holly James - Logo & Visual Identity

This Logo & Visual identity was created for Holly James, a Psychologist, Teacher and Shaman based in Calgary, Alberta. The logo was inspired heavily by indigenous medicine, specifically the medicine wheel, as well as sacred geometry and mandalas. The colour scheme–heavy on deep, rich tones of magenta contrasted with gold–is a reflection of intention, spirituality and healing power. Plantagenet Cherokee was used as the main typeface for its soft yet strong stature, with its serifs echoing the curves of the logo. The business card serves as an artifact to marry the logo and visual identity in a print medium, which truly showcases the logo as it is meant to be experienced in raised gold foil .
